Madison & Grayson { McLeod Plantation Wedding }

With shady live oaks and a quiet atmosphere on the banks of the Ashley River, a McLeod Plantation wedding is one of splendor and endless southern charm. For Madison and Grayson, the setting couldn’t have been more perfect and their day was simply stunning and Bridgit was on hand for every moment! Madison was absolutely breathtaking in her a-line gown with pink lace overlay matched beautifully by mulberry Steve Madden heels. Her look was that of soft elegance which fit the day’s charm perfectly. Down below on the avenue of oaks, Grayson waited patiently for the ceremony to start. He was quite handsome in his black three-piece with off-white tie.

With the oaks stretching out behind it, a rustic arbor was the perfect place for Madison and Grayson to become newlyweds. The shadowy grounds created a deeply southern atmosphere for the guests gathered beneath the hanging Spanish moss. We simply ADORE the ring bearer and flower girl. Her dress is so poufy and cute! All eyes were on Madison though, as she made her way to Grayson with a smile on her face. A few raindrops fell but nothing could dampen the two of them as they exchanged their vows and swore to love one another forever. A sweet kiss and it was all over, they were husband and wife and it was certainly time to party!

Despite the weather, the duo wanted their newlywed portraits. The live oaks were simply too amazing and what fun are re-do wedding photos? So they smiled and laughed together, making the new memories that will last a lifetime and we love the emotion in each photo. A huge tent awaited them when they returned and everyone was gathered and having a blast beneath string lights that lit everything like midday. They danced and celebrated with their family and friends long into the night before setting out together in search of a new adventure.
